Dumeril’s Monitors live in the Southeast Asian countries and are found in two subspecies. Compared to other monitors, very little has been known overall about this animal.

    Habitat Mangrove swamps and highly humid, dense evergreen forests
    Diet Main diet is crab but also consumes molluscs, fish, frogs, snails, smaller rodents, and insects
    Breeding Season Nothing known about breeding habits
    Mode of Reproduction Oviparous (egg laying)
